A Florida Beach scene by Harold Newton, one of the original 26 Florida Highwaymen, led sales of Highwaymen Paintings in Manor Auction's December 2010 Fine Art Auction. Harold Newton continues to sell strong as one of the collector favorites over the past few years. The Florida beach scene realized about $1500, followed by a smaller Harold Newton (not in the original frame) which brought about $1100.

A group of 5 Sam Newton Florida Highwaymen Paintings sold well in Manor's Auctions December Fine Art Auction. The Newton paintings were consigned in the week leading up to the auction, and had to sell. The fact these came in so late did not impact their performance at auction as strong phone, Internet and floor bids carried these 5 Sam Newton paintings, fetching about $3500 for the grouping.
